Journey Through the Community Minerals Application Process
Applying for a new job can be a bit overwhelming, right? At Community Minerals, we want to make the process as smooth and clear as possible for you. Whether you’re applying for a caller role, a non-caller role, or something else, we’ve broken down the entire application journey so you know exactly what to expect!
Let’s walk through it step-by-step!
Step 1: Fill-out and Complete our Application Form
First things first—you’ll start by completing our online application form. Once you hit submit, our recruiters will carefully screen your profile and credentials. We’re looking at your qualifications to see if they match the role you’re applying for.
If everything looks good, you’ll receive an invitation to move on to the next step: the Skills Assessment. Easy enough, right?
Step 2: Community Minerals Skills Assessment
Here’s where you’ll really get to show what you’re made of! Our Skills Assessment includes several tests that help us understand your abilities. You’ll take:
An English Test to check your language skills.
A Written Comprehension Test to measure your understanding.
An Attention to Detail Test, which is always important.
An Interpersonal Skills Assessment to see how well you work with others.
And to top it off, you will complete a VideoAsk with 5 general questions plus 1 role-specific question. You’ll record your answers, so we can see your communication skills and confidence in action!
Once you’ve finished the assessment, our recruiters will review and score your tests. To move forward, you’ll need an overall score of at least 50%.
Note: If you’re applying for a Performance Analyst or Real-Time Analyst position, there’s an extra step for you! You’ll first take a Technical Test (about 45 minutes long). If you pass that, you’ll then proceed to the Skills Assessment.
Step 3: Final Interview
Made it past the Skills Assessment? Awesome! Now it’s time to meet with the managers for your final interview.
Our recruiters will coordinate with the Community Minerals (CM) team for availability and scheduling, and you’ll receive an invite with all the details. It’s your chance to really showcase your knowledge and enthusiasm for the role!
We know waiting can be tough, but don’t worry—results will be out within 2-5 business days.
Step 4: Character Reference Verification Process
Whether or not you’ve received your final interview results yet, we’ll start verifying your character references. This process runs in the background while you’re waiting, so everything’s ready to go if you’re hired.
Step 5: Job Offer Email
This is the moment you’ve been waiting for! If you’re selected, you’ll receive a formal job offer via email from our PCO (People and Culture Officer). Congrats—you’re almost there!
Step 6: Onboarding
Once you’ve accepted the offer, we’ll kick off the onboarding process to welcome you into the Community Minerals family. We can’t wait to have you on board and be part of our growing community!
To Wrap Things Up
We hope this breakdown makes the application process feel a little less daunting and a lot more transparent. At Community Minerals, we are all about creating a supportive and engaging experience, starting with how we recruit. So, if you’re ready to take the next step in your career, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Good luck with your application—we’re looking forward to receiving them soon!
