MEET OUR FAMILY

OUR STRENGTH IS OUR COMMUNITY

We draw inspiration to be the best from these exceptional team members.

I previously worked as a Freelance Title Examiner for several companies and investors. Although I've worked in teams before, I am used to working alone. When I joined Community Minerals as a Title Analyst, they taught me how to collaborate in a team to successfully accomplish our goals. After six months, I was promoted to the role of title manager, which allowed me to develop my leadership skills, train others, and manage a team in a fast-paced setting. Currently, as the Director of Title, I oversee the team's processes and ensure the efficiency of the title department, with a goal of fostering a culture of leadership and providing opportunities for skill development and growth for both myself and my team members.

LORENZO RAMOS, Director of Title

I started working for the Community in an entry-level role in the Marketing Department. Although I had previous experience, I had to be quick in learning a new industry and adapt to the unique challenges of the role. The management has given full support and coaching throughout my journey which has led to many milestones for the company and my professional career, among them, winning a prestigious award for the Community and my being promoted to Director of Marketing. I’m glad I get to be a part of these achievements and am looking forward to adding more value to the team who has nurtured and empowered me to be the leader that I am today.

ANNA TAYAG, Director of Marketing

I was 14 years old when I started working, distributing reams of paper with my father. I was active at the university, joining the chess club, the university chorus, and the SPE student chapter, where I rose to the position of vice president. I began working as a translator for Upwork in 2016 to finance my studies and in 2021, I began working at Community Minerals as a Support Data Entry contractor before being promoted to Lead of the Technical team and receiving new responsibilities and rewards. Following that, I received another promotion as the Lead for the Underwriting Team before receiving another promotion as the Underwriter/Technical Team Lead. Since I started from a much lower position, it allowed me to have a panoramic view of the different aspects of the business, which made it easier for me to get up to speed. Presently, I am the Director of Underwriting of the company, thanks to the Partners of Community Minerals who gave me the chance. Several factors contributed to my ability to perform better, and those experiences taught me to work with little supervision and to always strive for the highest quality.

DANIEL ZUBIA, Director of Underwriting

I initially started working for Community Minerals as a caller, mainly focused on engaging and persuading customers to do business with us. My first-hand experience as a Qualifying Analyst working directly with customers gave me a better understanding of the people we cater to. Fortunately, I was transferred to different teams and departments and received training on various business processes, which broadened my knowledge of the industry. I have always been grateful to work with management that recognizes the commitment, talent, and potential of people, which led me to land a position in management.

Prior to working with Community Minerals, I managed a project for a social welfare organization where I interacted with people from various walks of life. Working closely with people in the past has ignited my passion for leadership with the objective of building up people and helping them realize their full potential. As the head of the Customer Engagement team, I aim to continually equip my team to ensure that we provide the best customer service experience.

What I thought was going to be a temporary part-time freelance job became an opportunity for career growth and professional advancement.

STEPHANIE TAYAG, Director of Customer Engagement

As a recent graduate in Venezuela in 2019, finding a job that provided opportunities for learning and professional development was a challenge, especially amidst the global pandemic. After a prolonged job search, I came across Community Minerals and applied for the Underwriter position. Despite my limited experience, I was hired after several interviews. I quickly proved myself capable of the role and began working as an Underwriter in June 2021, where I also helped as a qualifying analyst for a brief period. Over time, I was given an increased amount of responsibility and was promoted to Underwriting Lead and then Underwriting Manager, which came with greater rewards. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I have been given at Community Minerals and am proud of the professional and personal growth I experienced since joining. I gained confidence and am delighted to work in this supportive company and community that has helped me become the professional I am today.
