We draw inspiration to be the best from these exceptional team members.
As a recent graduate in Venezuela in 2019, finding a job that provided opportunities for learning and professional development was a challenge, especially amidst the global pandemic. After a prolonged job search, I came across Community Minerals and applied for the Underwriter position. Despite my limited experience, I was hired after several interviews. I quickly proved myself capable of the role and began working as an Underwriter in June 2021, where I also helped as a qualifying analyst for a brief period. Over time, I was given an increased amount of responsibility and was promoted to Underwriting Lead and then Underwriting Manager, which came with greater rewards. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I have been given at Community Minerals and am proud of the professional and personal growth I experienced since joining. I gained confidence and am delighted to work in this supportive company and community that has helped me become the professional I am today.

YOLIMAR OLANO, Underwriting Senior Manager
I started working for the Community in an entry-level role in the Marketing Department. Although I had previous experience, I had to be quick in learning a new industry and adapt to the unique challenges of the role. The management has given full support and coaching throughout my journey which has led to many milestones for the company and my professional career, among them, winning a prestigious award for the Community and my being promoted to Director of Marketing. I’m glad I get to be a part of these achievements and am looking forward to adding more value to the team who has nurtured and empowered me to be the leader that I am today.
“The management has given full support and coaching throughout my journey which has led to many milestones for the company and my professional career.”
ANNA TAYAG, Director of Marketing
Joining Community Minerals as an Underwriter in 2021 gave me the opportunity to learn about the mineral rights industry, supported by an excellent team of professionals. I progressed to Senior Underwriter, then Underwriter Lead, and later took on the challenge of leading the newly established Reserves department as Reserve Lead. In June 2025, I was promoted to Senior Manager, where I now oversee the Operations area. Each role has helped me grow through the guidance, trust, and support of my mentors and leaders, while giving me a broader perspective of the business. I’m grateful to be part of a company where hard work is recognized and people are valued. My advice to anyone starting their journey with us is to always give your best, stay curious, take initiative, and never be afraid to suggest improvements.
“Community Minerals has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I’m grateful for the trust, guidance, and opportunities I’ve received throughout my journey, and I believe that if you work with integrity, passion, and a commitment to doing your best, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.”
JUAN ANDRADE, Underwriting Senior Manager
I started my journey with Community Minerals as a Data/System Analyst, initially supporting our developer with system-related tasks while also taking on testing responsibilities. I later moved into IT Security, which gave me a broader understanding of our systems and processes, as well as the importance of protecting our data and technology. As the company’s needs evolved, I gradually took on more IT support responsibilities and eventually moved into a supervisory role. Each position allowed me to develop new skills, take on greater responsibilities, and gain a deeper understanding of the business as a whole. The trust and opportunities I was given to work across systems, security, support, and development-related projects helped me become more confident in making decisions, solving problems, and taking ownership. Today, as an IT Supervisor, I’m grateful to be part of a collaborative community where everyone contributes to the bigger picture. My journey has taught me to stay curious, take initiative, and remain open to opportunities that challenge me, because those experiences can often lead to the greatest growth.
“Being given the opportunity to work across different areas allowed me to continuously learn, expand my skills, and eventually grow into a leadership role. I’m grateful for the trust and opportunities that have helped shape me into the professional I am today.”
RICKY RODRIGO, IT Supervisor
