Job Summary:

The Social Media Specialist – Recruitment & Employer Branding is responsible for strengthening Community Minerals’ employer brand and supporting contractor acquisition through strategic, creative, and data-driven social media initiatives. This role focuses on managing recruitment-focused social media channels, developing engaging hiring campaigns, and supporting recruitment marketing efforts to attract and engage qualified contractor talent. The role works closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure consistent messaging, strong candidate engagement, and effective promotion of open roles, events, and contractor milestones.

Job Description:

  • Recruitment & Employer Branding

    - Manage and maintain recruitment-focused social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, to attract and engage contractor talent.
    - Develop and execute creative, platform-specific recruitment campaigns aligned with hiring needs and employer branding goals.
    - Ensure all recruitment content reflects Community Minerals’ values, tone, and brand identity.

    Content Creation & Community Management
    - Create engaging social media content such as job ads, hiring announcements, recruitment videos, graphics, and campaign posts.
    - Monitor and manage social media communities by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
    - Support internal engagement by posting contractor milestones such as birthdays, work anniversaries, promotions, and recognitions in the People & Culture Slack channel.

  • Career Page & Recruitment Tools

    - Manage and update the company career page, including posting job openings, updating recruitment content, and publishing recruitment-related announcements or blogs.
    - Create, upload, and manage AI voiceover recordings for VideoAsk’s general recruitment questions and role-specific screening questions.
    - Coordinate closely with the recruitment team to ensure job postings are accurate, timely, and aligned with active hiring needs.

  • Recruitment Support & Events

    - Support recruitment initiatives such as job fairs, campus hiring activities, and virtual or on-site recruitment events.
    - Represent Community Minerals during recruitment events by engaging with potential contractors and promoting open opportunities.
    - Assist with candidate sourcing, screening coordination, and engagement activities as needed.

  • Analytics & Reporting

    - Track, analyze, and report on recruitment social media performance, including engagement, reach, follower growth, and campaign effectiveness.
    - Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment marketing strategies based on data and trends.

  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

    - Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, People & Culture, and Marketing stakeholders to align recruitment messaging and campaigns.
    - Stay updated on recruitment marketing trends, social media best practices, and digital employer branding strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    - Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management, preferably with a recruitment or employer branding focus.
    - Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR-related initiatives.

    Technical Skills:

  • Experience supporting job fairs, hiring events, or recruitment campaigns is an advantage.

  • Experience in compensation research or recruitment market benchmarking is a plus.

  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

  • Experience using content creation tools such as Canva and similar design platforms.

  • Ability to track and analyze social media and recruitment metrics to support decision-making.

    Soft Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong creativity and storytelling skills tailored to recruitment audiences.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Understanding of recruitment marketing, employer branding, and talent acquisition trends.

  • Awareness of contractor engagement practices and labor market dynamics.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies applied to recruitment.
