Job Summary:

The Title Closing Analyst supports the Title Closing Manager by handling various tasks related to the preparation, review, and finalization of mineral acquisition. This role involves detailed analysis of title documents, coordination with relevant parties, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Title Closing Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate closing of mineral acquisitions.

Job Description:

  • Conduct a thorough due diligence process to evaluate Legal Ownership of Surface and Mineral Rights.

  • Review and analyze title searches, Deeds, Mortgages, Leases, and other relevant documents to identify and resolve Title Defects or issues.

  • Collaborate with Title Analyst, Closing Associates, Attorneys, and other stakeholders to address and resolve title-related issues.

  • Prepare Closing Documents, including settlement statements, deeds, and affidavits, in accordance with the State and County’s regulatory requirements.

  • Communicate with various parties to clarify and resolve any issues that may arise during the closing process.

  • Ensure all title conditions and requirements are met before closing.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents before submission for final approval.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    - Graduate of any 4-year course or must have completed a 2-year college Education.

    - A bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Law, or a related field is an advantage.

  • Experience:

    - Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in the US Real Estate Industry or a relevant role.


    Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of real estate law, property rights, conveyancing principles, and title standards.

  • Ability to interpret and analyze various types of legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, liens, easements, and property surveys.

  • Ability to clear titles by resolving any issues found during the examination process.

  • In-depth knowledge of title examinations, Probate and Intestacy Procedures, Foreclosures, and regulatory compliance, and the ability to apply them to assess and mitigate risks.

  • Understanding of recording procedures for deeds, mortgages, and other real estate documents

    Additional Skills:

  • Excellent Oral Communication Skills to communicate with Mineral Owners

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

  • Attentive to details and possesses analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in computer applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Knowledgeable in Legal terminologies related to property ownership, deeds, liens, encumbrances, and conveyances.

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and industry standards governing title examination, such as the Uniform Title Standards Act, and staying updated on any changes or amendments.

  • Willing to work in US Business Hours (CST)

  • A Computer with 2 monitors is recommended.

  • Must have stable Internet and Power Connection

  • Must have an Office 365 Microsoft License.
